Description

"Sweet and sexy with a delicious side of hot and dirty. Kendall Ryan pens another swoon worthy hockey hero who will undoubtedly melt your heart. - Helena Hunting New York Times bestselling author ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Recovering from a pulled groin muscle isn’t exactly how I planned to spend my much-needed summer vacation.

But I’ll admit, being nursed back to health by my gorgeous friend Bailey, who’s just graduated from medical school, doesn’t exactly sound like a hardship.

We spend a week together at my family’s beach house, a week of swimming and barbecues, a week of entertaining my little cousins and sleeping right across the hall from each other. A week of watching Bailey grow closer with my mom and sisters, and my wacky but lovable grandma. A week of enjoying Bailey tending to me—which is saying something, because it involves a lot of shoving ice packs into my underwear and taping up sore muscles.

She’s funny and kind, and after just being myself for the first time in a long time, I find my walls come tumbling down. But when Bailey says she’s not looking for a relationship, I’m bound and determined to be more than just the fun hookup who sprained his groin a second time—this time with her.

Your favorite hot jocks are back with an all-new standalone novel. If you like sexy, confident men who know how to handle a stick (on and off the ice), and smart women who are strong enough to keep all those big egos in check, this series is for you!

(Books can be enjoyed in any order.)

This is the fourth book in Kendall Ryan’s Hot Jock Series and it is incredible. Each book is it own standalone story. This is Asher and Bailey’s story. Asher and Bailey are in the same friend group but have never spent one on one time together until Bailey volunteers to be injured Ashers doctor so he can go home to celebrate his Grandmother’s birthday. They feel very comfortable with each other and realize they have very sizzling chemistry. I loved this story and the characters! This book is filled with heart and heat!

Bailey is getting ready to start her residency. When hot, injured hockey player Asher needs help she can’t resist going with him. Great chemistry and romance. I liked how Asher was not the player he seemed. A perfect alpha with a soft squishy center. Bailey was assertive and knew what she wanted. Asher’s crazy family was a great setup for the story. Wonderful continuation of the Hot Jock series!!!

Fun, sexy and fabulous friends to lover’s romance. Bailey’s life is very focused as she works to become a doctor. Asher finds himself in need of medical supervision while he recovers from a concussion and groin injury to be able to visit his family in California. Step in Bailey with a break before her residency to help out. Now, these two have been circling each other when they get together with their friends but neither has been willing to show how they really feel. Being at Asher’s grandmother’s, there is a lot of meddling which is so much fun from his mother, grandmother and sister’s which makes it harder for Asher to resist. Bailey gets to see the softer side to Asher after really only knowing him for his hockey playing. She finds herself unable to resist his charming and sexy moves. The real challenge, what happens when the vacation is over? Will Bailey realize she can balance a relationship with her medical dreams? I loved this couple with all the sexual innuendos and banter, which gave me a beautiful romance to devour.

Oh I am so loving this series by Kendall Ryan!! If you are looking for a fun, swoony and steamy sports romance, look no further! This is the quick-paced story of Asher and Bailey. Asher is the tough center of the Ice Hawks hockey team.  He plays hard and goes strong until he gets what he wants. Bailey is the friend, she is going places and has big, bright future ahead of her. When Asher and Bailey spend a week together, sparks fly! I love how underneath the tough exterior Asher is a big softie, he embraces his feelings and doesn't apologize for showing them. I also admire how he understands that Bailey doesn't need him to complete her.  He wants to be her dessert! The world that Ms. Ryan has created is fresh, funny and full of heart and heat!! I cannot wait for the next story in this series!! Landon & Aubree are gonna be epic!

I know whenever I pick up a Kendall Ryan book I am in for a great story and this book did not disappoint. I absolutely loved both Asher and Bailey. They were great by themselves and fantastic as a couple. I loved that they started out as friends who hung out just because of the group of friends that they had in common. Yet when Bailey offers to help Asher out with a medical issue he has this is when they both realize that they have an attraction to each other. And it is an attraction that is hard for them to ignore, even in a house full of loud crazy relatives. This series has been absolutely wonderful, every time I think I found my book boyfriend I read the next book and I have a new one. Each book is as good as the last and I can’t pick a favorite. So with that I say I can’t wait for the next one!

This was just super cute, sweet, with some sizzling heat, and it made me happy. This is a fantastic friends to lovers trope that brings all the feels. It captured my attention from the beginning and I had a hard time putting it down even when it was the end. Asher Reed is center for the Seattle Ice Hawks. He has it all, a fancy apartment, a great hockey career, and a lot of women. But after sustaining a concussion, that is going to keep him sidelined for the rest of the season and a groin injury that makes everything painful, he is thinking that maybe the universe is telling him that he has been going to hard for too long and he needs a break. Asher can’t believe that the team will not let him go to his grandmother’s birthday celebration without a nurse at his side. And there is no way he wants to do that. Until his friend Bailey volunteers for the job. Bailey Erickson and Asher have been just friends for the past few years. Hanging out in the same group of friends. But both have had their eyes on the other since their long weekend trip last summer. Finally done with medical school she has a few weeks off and can’t believe she so quickly volunteered to travel with Asher and take care of him. As she tries to downplay her reasoning as love of a free trip to San Diego, she really is thinking how she would love to spend some one on one time getting to know Asher and spending time at the beach with him. Playing doctor wouldn’t be so bad either. I loved Asher and Bailey so much. The ease they had with each other as they get to know each other and as things develop was awesome. I loved the pull they had, the great conversations and dialogue it all had me hooked, they were just so fun together. It was flirty and playful, sweet and sexy, with great witty dialogue. And the sexual chemistry between them jumped off the page. But this story had so much more, with a meddling, firecracker of a grandmother, a house full of relatives of all ages and Asher’s sisters, who all want what is best for Asher. You don’t want to miss this one, it’s my new favorite. Received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.
